OUR WINES

Our wines express the very best of local terroir, bringing you moments of joy to share with friends and family.

Our wild-fermented wine uses native yeast (natural yeast from the grapes) and the vines are vinified seperately, some in tanks and some in oak barrels.

Our aim is to produce wines that offer fruity notes with pleasant mineral aromas and a powerful aftertaste, that caracterise our AOC labels.

Each year, the Domaine and the winemaking team devote their time, energy and money on improving the quality of our wines. This passion has lead them to produce a number of award-winning wines and be referenced in the “Guide Hachette des Vins”.

We produce wines that are designated “AOC Cheverny”, “AOC Cour-Cheverny” and “Vins de France”.

AOC CHEVERNY

Cheverny blanc

This wine is a blend of Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The vines are first harvested then vinified seperately. The alcohol fermentation is done according to traditional methods: native yeast (natural yeast from the grapes) The malolactic fermentation is either completely or partially a natural process, depending on the vintage. This expressive white wine is perfect with seafood and shellfish or even as a pre-dinner drink.

Cheverny rouge

This red wine features stong aromas of red berries and currants and underlines the finesse of Pinot Noir. Some of our oak barrels are left to age up to twelve months, allowing them to reveal subtle wooded notes.

Cheverny rosé

Cheverny rosé is a blend of two different vines : Pinot Noir and Gamay. A short process of cold maceration (12 to 24 hours) is necessary before the grapes are pressed. The juices ferment in a a stainless steel vat between 18 and 20° farenheit, favouring the conservation of its fruity quality. This wine is best enjoyed with grilled meat, poultry and exotic cuisine.
